Finally!!! I got to see the movie, Merry men and my, I laughed throughout the movie.

Remi Martins (Falz the bahd guy), Amaju Abioritsegbemi (Ay the comedian), Ayo Alesinloye (Ramsey Noah) and Naz Okigbo (Jim Iyke) are Abuja's most eligible bachelors and its most notorious. They have thriving businesses, palatial houses, fast cars and the attention of women in no short supply. They are known as THE MERRY MEN ... but ladies call them THE REAL YORUBA DEMONS.

I was just laughing though out the movie, it was as if Falz role in the movie was purely comic relief, he was just relieving tension anyhow and he did it perfectly well, I was not happy when I went to the cinema and by the time the movie was over, I had forgotten why I was angry in the first place, I guess cinema outings has become my favorite stress reliever now, Lol.

One off side about the movie was the fakeness of the gun sounds, you know how Nollywood gunshot can sound, yeah right.

The picture quality of the movie makes sense, HD to bad, the storyline too is OK and the actors were professionals in handling their lines, the cast made sense, I liked how Amaju and the secretary switched to Edo dialect when they found out they were from the same place.

One thing I learnt in that movie is the harsh reality of the Nigerian system; starting from the, "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" syndrome eating up the system, AY was using his john Thomas to get contracts from the federal government for the merry men by servicing a top politician in the ministry who in return gives them contracts, also, giving contracts to people based on who they know and also that poverty is a bastard, imagine trying to pull down Gariki village all because someone wanted to build a mega mall at the expense of people's sweats, bloods and lives, funny enough, the Nigerian government and the elites are guilty of this.

Also, I learnt that some things are not worth sacrificing others for; imagine sleeping with your bestfriend's younger sister, the one you know he will die protecting, though in the movie he loved her, but then again, they ended up getting married and the love was mutual sha

Friendship is a beautiful thing, no matter what y'all go through, the point is to stick together through the storms and sunny weather that comes with it, the merry men despite that fact that the police was on their trail looking for anything to nab them with, funny enough, they were the good guys, but you know the Nigerian police, anywhere you flash money, you become a suspect, when the real thieves are busy looting away our future, we are busy chasing shadows, it is well.

Lastly, your dreams are valid, do not squeeze yourself to fit in, if you were born to stand out, please do it with pride, imagine Naz Okigbo (Jim Iyke) came out from the ghetto and became a big boy, hence the reason he fought tooth and nail to make sure Gariki village wasn't demolished and they all helped him to achieve that aim.

The merry men got their wishes; Naz (Jim Iyke) married Ayo's sister, Ayo (Ramsey Noah) proposed to his Police girlfriend, Remi started going out with the blogger and Amaju broke away from his sugar mummy, pheeeew, what a happy ending.

I recommend this movie for anyone as a stress reliever and comic relief scenes, trust me, you will laugh and forget your sorrows.

AY did a good one on this one, this time around, I am giving AY a ten over ten for this movie.

Kemen role for this movie sha, yes o, Kemen of big brother made a brief appearance.
