Gtbank is stirring the entrepreneural  space in Nigeria through its various programs aimed at supporting known and unknown brands like the food and drink fair and fashion weekend and we are loving it.

The gtbank fashion weekend which just ended on Sunday, after an intensed two days of fun at water corporation, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos is aimed at exploring the fashion industry, bringing in renowned international fashionistas to talk to local fashion entrepreneurs on how to start and sustain a fashion business.

Your favorite blogger was there live to partake in the fun. I saw many things o. Me I just kept bumping into old school mates and reminiscing with them about the good old days of Uni 😀.

During the question and answer session of  the Nicholas Kirkwood masterclass on building an ecosystem, one huncle, in a bid to sound posh and accepted decided to tarnish the image of Nigeria by suggesting that we don't have original lay (for shoes) that last, ah ah wonderful, how come? He was just trying to sound posh 😀

The other hanty suggested the man gives her his shoes to sell in Nigeria for him, hian, and you would think as an agent o, nope, she meant, he would send to her, she would sale and make gain, more like drip shipping, the Oyinbo doesn't know you na, why would he wanna do that? Nigerians we play tew much 😂.

The event had the likes of Mai Atafo, Ugo Monye, BM pro make up and others at the exhibition stands and nigerians know how to shop, white customized bags were everywhere.

The runway show featuring models wearing clothes of upcoming and renowned designers capped the event and brought it to an end at 10pm. The fun was real.

  1. Other exhibitors were IRE CLOTHING, owned by popular Nigerian actor Kunle Afolayan. Nice comic write ups though... like it!
